  • Project Story

AQUAPONICS solves these problems:

  • Pesticides are killing us and our ecosystem
  • Irrigation wastes valuable fresh water
  • Lack of nutritional education causing obesity and diabetes epidemic
  • Little to no employment or prosperity in remote rural communities
  • Our food travels vast distance
  • Climate change is making it too cold, too hot, too wet and too dry for most food crops

Aquaponics solves these problems with education and prosperity creating both employment and a dramatic yield increase with 24/7/365 root crops, leafy greens and fresh fish protein; with farm to table business in a box on an urban rooftop, suburban garage, the arctic or the desert.

This amazing organic farming system operates indoors 24/7-365 days a year and uses 10% of the water of traditional farming with ten times the production of traditional farming systems. It also solves a very serious food security problem for the remote indigenous communities that we serve.

The innovation comes by combining the Aquaponics Training Institute training with both the "indoor farming system" and the vocational, operational and business training for the community success. In doing so we create a network of local organic food suppliers. Further innovation is created when we connect that organic food-supply network to our organic distribution partner called Farm Bound. This door-to-door distribution network called Farm Bound is a rapidly expanding business delivering locally grown foods door-to-door by subscription service. By working together we close the 'Farm to Table' supply chain loop while eliminating fossil fuel requirements from non-local growing and non-local distribution of traditional farming.

We need your help to create the Farm Franchise school so that we can provide the infrastructure and education to people worldwide so they can operate successful farm and produce production/distribution system in any climate, literally farming anywhere on the planet.

With over 20 years of experience helping communities secure over $30M in government funding for their projects.....we now find ourselves in the position of needing some help.

We have a really good reputation with indigenous groups, industry partners, academic institutions and government backers because we always get the job done on time and on budget. We are very proud of our work over the past two decades helping so many individuals and communities develop programs, create jobs, build infrastructure and develop their economies. But now we need a little help.

Our small social enterprise company is unable to self-fund this new training division called Aquaponics Training Institute.

We need help in launching our new training facility directed at serving indigenous groups and the general public.

We hope to create the training school that will provide this localised "franchise-like" organic 'farm training, complete with a physical greenhouse and the Standard Operational Procedures and systems and supplies with a complete blue-print for success.

But we can't do that without your help raising the $620,000 required to build the training centre called the Aquaponics Training Institute located in Vernon BC Canada where indigenous leaders will come to learn the business skills, the leadership skills, the operational skills, and the aquaponics skills to create their own healthy organic food security.
